This is the final opportunity for hauliers to pursue claims against the truck manufacturers’ cartel for trucks that have not yet been included in previous lawsuits. This chance was provided by the CJEU judgment of 1 February this year, which dismissed Scania’s appeal and confirmed its participation in the cartel that operated from 1997 to 2011.

Companies that acquired trucks (through purchase, hire purchase, or leasing) between 1997 and 2016 from manufacturers involved in the price collusion can still claim compensation. This applies not only to Scania but also to Daimler/Mercedes, MAN, Volvo/Renault, DAF, and Iveco.

Financialright Claims is preparing a new class action against the truck cartel and has extended the registration deadline to 15 October this year. Hauliers, therefore, have only a few more days to join the fight for damages.

Registration must be completed on the Financialright Claims website. Haulage companies will not incur any costs if they lose, but if they win, the law firm will collect 27% of the compensation awarded.
