In a statement, Andamur said the service area includes “special features designed with the aim of optimising travel for professional truck drivers”. Among the facilities present on site are a secure parking area, a restaurant, shop, supermarket, laundry service, showers and a gym.
The new Andamur Service Area is located 20 km from the French border, just 12 km from La Junquera and 200 metres from Exit 3 of the AP7 toll road.
In the statement regarding the new service area, Andamur also boasted that it would be boosting the capacity of its Andamur La Junquera – Llers refuelling station for trucks. Located 18km south of the Andamur La Junquera service area, it will be significantly expanded by the end of 2022.
Moreover, Andamur says its La Junquera-LLers petrol station boasts a system with six simultaneous lines, which means several products can be refuelled at the same time, thus reducing waiting and refuelling times to a minimum. As a result, a lorry can be refuelled in approximately eight minutes.
The facility is open 24/7 and also sports free wi-fi.
