A lorry driver could face a stint in prison after customs officers in Sweden noticed he had left 6 lines of amphetamine on a portable mirror lying on top of his truck’s center console.

According to Swedish road transport site trailer.se, the incident occured at the port of Trelleborg on Wednesday.

Swedish Customs stopped the truck just after it rolled off the ferry from the Polish port of Swinoujscie. When the customs officers looked into the cab, they quickly spotted a mirror on the center console that had 6 lines of amphetamine on it. Some 5.6 grams of amphetamine was found in the truck in total.

The driver, who was on his way to Stockholm, was also found to be under the influence of drugs following the results of a test. The prosecutor chose to arrest the man for drug driving.

It is said that the driver could end up spending some time in prison if the court concludes that he is guilty of severe drug offences.
