German police reported a situation that no one ever thought would happen in reality. „The main actor” of the situation was a drunk truck driver from the Emsland, who no longer has a driver’s license as a result of his actions.

The 63-year-old driver stopped his vehicle in a roundabout near Paderborn, North Rhine-Westphalia at about 8:15 pm, in such a way that completely blocked traffic. The driver then got out of his vehicle, and relieved himself in front of numerous road users – urinating on the bumper of his truck.

According to witnesses, he then climbed back into the cab and drove in a zigzag motion towards the motorway. At one point, he turned his vehicle too hard at a junction and tore a hydraulic hose. That meant the brakes of the vehicle combination were blocked and the 18-ton lorry inevitably stopped.

A patrol arrived on the spot quickly and checked the driver. The 63-year-old was under the influence of alcohol and was comfortably above the limit according to his test results.

The police took the truck driver for a blood test for verification and revoked his driver’s license. Criminal proceedings are now pending against him.

The officers handed the vehicle keys over to another employee of the truck owner, who had to take care of the repairs on site.
