On Tuesday, Police officers in Cambridgeshire were called to the scene of an accident with two HGVs that somewhat resembled a scene from a Tarantino film. Fortunately, nobody was seriously injured.
As it turns out, the collision, which occured on the A14 near Godmanchester and Cambridge, resulted in a load of tomato puree smashing onto the road surface – effectively painting the road red.
The road also had to be temporarily closed for resurfacing due to the effect the oil from the puree had on the road surface.
According to a police statement, an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident is ongoing.
One of the truck drivers involved in the accident was injured, but fortunately not seriously.
