Swedish truck manufacturer Scania have presented a video showing what a side impact with an electric truck could look like. The engineers wanted to check the durability of the truck’s batteries in case of an accident.
“After the collision, the battery was dismantled so that personnel could assess the damage suffered as a result of the simulated accident. In the next step, the engineers will analyse the recordings and data,” explains Jacob Leygraf, R&D engineer, in the video.
