US truck manufacturer Peterbilt, who have been making trucks since 1939, have shown off their new zero-emission, battery-electric, Class 8 truck in a video filmed at Pikes Peak Hillclimb.
Peterbilt say the truck made the journey up and down the famous hill climb multiple times over a 3 day period, but have not yet revealed how long it took the vehicle to reach the summit.
The vehicle that currently holds the record for the hillclimb, the Volkswagen I.D. R, is also electric-powered. It achieved the feat in 7 minutes, 57 seconds back in 2018.
