Waberer’s latest electric vehicle purchase is company’s 6,000 Volvo FH tractor unit

Waberer’s International says the fact it has received 6,000 Volvo FH tractor units shows the strength of its collaboration with the Swedish manufacturer.

The latest Volvo truck Waberer’s has taken delivery of is an electric Volvo FH model.

When it comes to electric and biofuel trucks, the Hungarian logistics outfit now boasts 2 electric tractor units, 3 electric trucks and 2 gas-powered Volvo trucks.

In connection with the aforementioned 25th anniversary, Waberer’s International and Volvo Trucks confirmed their commitment to align their future strategies in the field of sustainability solutions, share valuable knowledge with each other and to launch joint initiatives in a declaration of intent.

The agreement will also see Volvo Trucks supply Waberer’s with 25 fully electric lorries by 2025.

According to Roger Alm, Executive Vice President of the Volvo Group and President of Volvo Trucks, this is Volvo’s largest electric truck deal in Eastern Europe.
