M6 junction 13 to junction 16 will be closed at the weekend, according to the manager of the British Highways England. During this time, work will be carried out to improve the M6 by making it a smart motorway.
Due to the works carried out between junctions and 16, M6 will be closed in accordance with the following schedule:
– between August 28 (Wednesday) and September 1 (Sunday), the motorway will be closed from 9 pm to 6 am between junctions 13 and 14 to the south.
– between September 2 (Monday) and September 5 (Thursday), the motorway will be closed from 9 pm to 6 am between junctions 12 and 13 south.
– between September 6 (Friday) and September 10 (Tuesday), the highway will be closed from 9 pm to 6 am between junctions13 and 14 to the north.
– between September 11 (Wednesday) and September 12 (Thursday), the motorway will be closed from 9 pm to 6 am between junctions 12 and 13 to the north.
