The French road safety organisation Délégation la Sécurité Routière (DSR) has announced the introduction of the “Mon transport exceptionnel” (or “SI-TE”) platform, which will serve as an electronic application system for exceptional transport authorizations. This platform is set to replace the current “TENet” site for authorization applications.
Hauliers and freight forwarders can create accounts on the new platform and conduct file creation tests since the 1st June 2023. However, the official opening of the site has been postponed until mid-July, as additional development is needed to ensure its proper functioning, informs the French National Federation of Public Works.
The discovery phase, initially scheduled to end on 12th June, will also be extended until mid-July.
Until at least September, applications for specific routes will continue to be submitted and processed on the TENet platform, as a decision regarding full site migration and TENet closure is pending. However, priority will be given to new applications submitted on the Mon Transport Exceptionnel site. This gradual phasing-in period aims to facilitate a smooth transition for professionals.
To access the platform, hauliers and agents can click on the “Mon-Transport-Exceptionnel” link. There is a registration and account creation procedure, which can be found by clicking here. If any technical difficulties arise during this phase, they can be reported to support-enrolement-si-te@interieur.gouv.fr for assistance.
Additional support materials such as tutorials and FAQs will be made available at a later date to further aid users in navigating the platform effectively.
