In 2018, the Spanish General Directorate of Road Traffic had 50 laser speed guns. This year, more than 230 radars will be on the roads in Spain. Check their location.
The Spanish officers have been using super radar speed guns since last year.
How are they different from other radars? Super radars operate wirelessly and simultaneously control two lanes, even if they run in opposite directions. Officers can “flash” the radar even while driving. These devices allow catching cars moving at speeds up to 250 km/h. In addition, they assess whether the distance between vehicles is sufficient. Their unquestionable advantage is also the small size through which radars are barely visible to drivers.
