Austria records highest amount of HGV test passes in 12 years

Statistics Austria have released figures concerning the amount of driving licences issued in 2021. The data shows that the amount of C-class tests the were passed last year was the highest in 12 years. In addition, a record amount of women also passed their HGV tests.

According to the stats published by Statistics Austria, the amount of C-class licences issued in 2021 grew by an unprecedented 35%.

Just under 6,000 persons passed their C-class test – the highest value in the last twelve years.

Another interesting takeaway from the figures is the amount of women passing their C-class test. Around 10% of those who passed were women, which constitutes a new record.
