7 Deadly Sins of European drivers

The German newspaper Die Welt published a list of the most criminal offenses by European drivers. TransInfo prepared for their readers a summary of the mandates that apply in each country for the misdemeanor.

 

The European statement of seven deadly sins the "too much speed" was ranked as fourth. In Germany, inappropriate speed for the driving conditions, in turn, is the second most common causes of accidents. In 2009, with our western neighbors reported the biggest increase in accidents since 2002. 40% of all victims were killed as a result of speeding.

 

Die Welt says that accidents occur most often on the roads of Rhineland-Palatinate, Thuringia and Szleswika-Holstein.

Here are the most common sins of European’s drivers:

1. Parking in prohibited areas

2. Overtaking on the Prohibition

3. Passing over Red traffic light

4. Exceeding the speed of 20 km/h

5. Exceeding the speed of 50km/h

6. Driving under the alcohol consumption

7. Using a mobile phone while driving.
