According to the East Lewisham police department, officers were called to Brownhill Road due to an HGV driver “being asleep in the middle of the road”.
It later emerged that the driver had tested positive for cocaine. In addition, officers found that the load the driver’s lorry had been hauling was not secured at all.
As a result, the driver was arrested and taken into custody.
