The 508,000 sq ft facility at Infinity Park Derby is due to go live in August 2026. CEVA will use the site to support a major unnamed ecommerce customer, handling storage, picking and UK-wide distribution.
The operation will include more than 147,000 dynamic picking locations, with space for additional racking as volumes increase. CEVA says the site is being mobilised in less than 20 weeks following the award of the contract.
The warehouse has 44 standard loading docks, four double-height docks suitable for double-deck trailers, four level-access doors and parking for 71 HGVs.
Its location near the A50 and M1 places it within the East Midlands logistics “Golden Triangle”, giving CEVA access to a large share of the UK population within a four-hour HGV drive.
The facility has achieved a BREEAM Excellent rating and an EPC A+ certification. It also includes rooftop solar panels, air-source heat pumps and electric vehicle charging points.
The customer behind the operation has not been disclosed, although CEVA has described the project as a flagship ecommerce contract for a high-profile client.
