McElroy has held senior roles in the logistics and travel sectors, including positions at GXO, Swissport, Wincanton, and DHL. Most recently, he completed interim leadership roles within the logistics industry. He is set to join Culina Group on February 24.
Koehler, who takes on his new role immediately, previously held senior leadership roles at Kuehne + Nagel, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of the company’s Road Logistics division for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. In his role as Deputy Group CEO, he will report to McElroy and support the delivery of the company’s long-term strategy.
The appointments follow Culina Group’s strategic shift to align its operations under three pillars: Chilled, Ambient, and Co-packing. Alastair Isbister was appointed CEO of the Ambient division in 2024, while Steve Winwood continues as CEO of Chilled, and Andrew Dawson remains CEO of Co-packing.
“Liam’s significant experience across the logistics, business-to-business, and retail sectors will add further valuable insight into the opportunities open to Culina, as we continue to align our business operations to the evolving needs of our customers,” stated Theo Müller Junior, Chair of the Culina Supervisory Board.
He added:
“I’m delighted to welcome Fabian into this new role, where he will work closely with Liam to deliver the Group’s strategic transformation programme and embed our plan for long-term growth and success.”
