The Bocholt-based Duvenbeck Group is enhancing its market position in northern Germany through the acquisition of Sander Logistics. Operating in Hamburg, Itzehoe, Rostock, Halle, and Moosburg, Sander complements Duvenbeck’s existing network and improves access to key markets in northern and eastern Germany.
Hakan Bicil, CEO of the Duvenbeck Group, emphasized that the acquisition aligns with the company’s growth strategy:
“The acquisition of Sander is a logical and consistent implementation of our set goals. We are expanding our presence both geographically and in terms of customer industries.”
Joint growth
According to the information provided, Sander Logistics will continue to operate as an independent subsidiary. The current management team will remain in place, ensuring continuity in the company’s established customer relationships and individual services. At the same time, Sander will benefit from Duvenbeck’s resources and network.
Jörg Schmeidler, Managing Director of the Sander Logistics Group, views the merger as a foundation for mutual growth:
“Becoming part of the Duvenbeck Group as a subsidiary allows us to offer our logistics solutions within a broader network and support our customers even more extensively. As an independent subsidiary, we retain the flexibility needed to maintain our proven working methods and individual customer relationships. Together, we create significant advantages and open up new market opportunities in Germany and Europe.”
