To further facilitate and expedite trade, Europa Road, the European road freight division of Europa Worldwide Group, is making changes to its partnership arrangements in Switzerland. Starting on January 1, 2024, Europa Road will collaborate with Magsped, a leading Swiss Operator.
The new partnership aims to reduce export and import lead times for customers shipping to and from Switzerland, with the highlight being the launch of a market-leading daily service in both directions from March 1, 2024.
The initiative is driven by the significant growth in trade between the UK and Switzerland, as reported by the Department for Business and Trade. The increase in trade is particularly notable in the four quarters leading up to Q2 2023, with the UK experiencing a surplus in goods trade with Switzerland.
Magsped is chosen for its quality services, fast transit times, and extensive network coverage across prime locations in Switzerland, including Basel, Zürich, Lucerne, Bern, Lausanne, and Geneva.
Europa Road emphasises its commitment to providing efficient and timely services, offering door-to-door collection and delivery within 48/72 hours, depending on the location.
The company has invested in its operation to optimise the distribution of goods between the UK and Europe, offering part load, full load, or groupage services.
