The European Cargo Network of International Freight Forwarders (ELVIS) AG is expanding its logistics services. With the introduction of the ELVIS South East Asia Link (SEAL) transport concept, the network’s partner freight forwarders gain access to efficient container transport between Europe and Southeast Asia.

In cooperation with the Bangkok-based logistics service provider APX Logistics Solutions, the new concept offers fixed freight rates, transparent shipment tracking, and flexible transport options – including sea freight and air freight. It also provides simplified customs clearance, fast transit times, and access to a comprehensive logistics network with over 200 depots.

“With the ELVIS South East Asia Link (SEAL), we are enabling our partners to offer cost-efficient import and export solutions for Southeast Asia – one of the most economically dynamic and fastest-growing regions in the world,” says Nikolja Grabowski, CEO of ELVIS AG.

ELVIS SEAL allows freight forwarders to enter new markets and strengthen their position in global competition.

Transport routes and benefits for freight forwarders

The new concept is primarily aimed at freight forwarders looking to expand their service portfolio, enter new markets, and offer their customers reliable transport solutions to and from Southeast Asia, according to ELVIS AG. The ELVIS SEAL offering covers both export and import transport.

Transport routes:

  • Export: From Europe to Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Vietnam
  • Import: From across Southeast Asia to Europe
  • Air Freight Option: For time-sensitive shipments from all European airports

A dedicated infrastructure with 200 depots across Europe and Southeast Asia ensures maximum transparency along the transport chain. Shipments are consolidated in Germany, transported by sea freight from Hamburg, and delivered within approximately 30 days. Alternatively, fast air freight solutions are available.

Maximum transparency and cost efficiency

A common challenge in international container transport is hidden additional costs, particularly for less-than-container-load (LCL) shipments. ELVIS SEAL eliminates these uncertainties by offering transparent pricing structures for sea and air freight.

Partner companies benefit from:

Fixed freight rates with no hidden costs
Seamless shipment tracking using modern IT solutions
Reliable customs clearance through APX Logistics Solutions
Fast transit times thanks to optimised logistics processes

How does ELVIS SEAL work?

  1. Export from Europe:
  • Shipments are first transported to the ELVIS central hub in Knüllwald (Hesse)
  • Freight is consolidated and forwarded to Hamburg
  • Containers are shipped to Southeast Asia, with a transit time of approximately 30 days
  • APX Logistics Solutions manages customs clearance and delivery in Southeast Asia
  1. Import from Southeast Asia:
  • APX collects and consolidates shipments across Southeast Asia
  • Shipments are transported to Europe
  • Distribution is handled via the ELVIS network of 200 depots in Europe

By operating its own pre-collection and delivery network, ELVIS avoids reliance on external service providers, allowing it to offer partners fixed door-to-door prices. This ensures predictable costs and prevents unexpected surcharges, especially for LCL shipments.
