Drivers must expect severe difficulties in one of Europe’s busiest ports on Wednesday. Farmers will block access and departure from the port of Algeciras.
On 22 January, organizations of farmers will organize a protest in Spain. As announced, they will block access and departures at the port of Algeciras (Cádiz Province) to suspend truck traffic.
The blockades will start in the early hours of the morning, and the demonstration scheduled for midday will include the entire area surrounding the Algeciras port facilities.
Protesters demand the end of uncontrolled imports of agri-food products from third countries that are not subject to any controls – reports almeria360.com.
