With more than 5800 infected people and 13 deaths, Germany decided to partially close its borders with Austria, France, Denmark, Luxembourg and Switzerland from 8 a.m. on Monday in an effort to combat the spread of coronavirus.

However, this does not apply to the transport of goods and commuters. The measure is not only intended to limit the spread of the coronavirus, but also to prevent foreigners from entering Germany’s border area for stockpiling.
