Global Warehousing and Storage Ltd’s investment, which will take covered storage to 230,000 sq ft at the site, should be operational by early summer.

As  Business Live reports, a new brand is emerging from the 23-acre site, where Stobart-branch WS Freight Services and continental haulier Egala, which operates around 100 lorries a week, have occupied in recent months.

Global Warehousing and Storage operations director Simon Williams commented on the investment to Business Wire:

“We are taking this site forward to support the growth of the area, more specifically Immingham, one of the biggest handling ports in Europe, and one that is growing. We can see, with the likes of the Stena Line development, what is coming.”

The roll-on roll-off ferry terminal is planned to be built close by.
