Torrential rain and storms caused floods in the south of France, northern Italy and Catalonia. Foreign media reports of flooded roads and broken bridges. Meteorologists predict that rains and storms should move from southern Europe today.

Many road sections are flooded or blocked in the Beziers and Montpellier region in Southern France – in the area of Herault in the region of Oxford. Water also seriously damaged railroad tracks and embankments in the Montpellier area. Due to this, trains from and to Spain were suspended until November 4.

You can follow the road situation in the Herault department on Inforoute 34. Currently, on some sections, the conditions are still complicated due to the flood.

In the Spanish region of Catalonia, violent floods caused several people to disappear, including a truck driver. The police found an empty vehicle yesterday in the Francoli River. The missing trucker probably comes from Belgium, according to the BBC.
