Hòa Phát supplies 2,000 “Made in Vietnam” containers to Hapag-Lloyd

The containers will feature anti-theft and tracking devices among other things.

Hòa Phát Group has signed a contract to supply 2,000 20-foot dry containers (20DC) to Hapag-Lloyd.

According to Hòa Phát Group, the containers are designed with advanced features, including reinforced chassis for heavy cargo transportation. The company adds that each container undergoes stringent quality checks by Hapag-Lloyd-appointed inspectors as well as a recognized classification organisation.

The containers have a maximum payload of 32,500 kg and are equipped with anti-theft hinges and special tracking devices to ensure secure and transparent shipments​.

Commenting on the deal,Ms. Andrea Schöning, Hapag-Lloyd’s Executive Director of Container Operations, said:

Mr. Vũ Đức Sính, Director of Hòa Phát Container Manufacturing Joint Stock Company, added:

“Following this shipment, we are confident that both parties will continue to collaborate on a larger scale in the near future.”
