InPost has announced that it has installed 100 parcel lockers at branches of the Duży Ben off licence chain. Before the end of the year, as many as 430 Duży Ben stores will have an InPost locker.

According to Poland’s parcel locker giant, 100,000 customers have already used the 100 lockers currently at Duży Ben stores.

The Duży Ben chain is part of the Eurocash Group, and across the group as a whole, InPost has almost 2,000 parcel lockers installed in stores. InPost adds that it is also working with Eurocash Group to have more PUDO points on top of the 350 that are currently active at Eurocash Group retail outlets.

Commenting on the news, Michał Florkiewicz, General Director of Duży Ben, said:

“The development of convenience services is one of the important pillars of the strategy of the Duży Ben chain. The partnership with InPost perfectly complements our offer in this area, and also contributes to the mutual increase in turnover and volumes. Our customers are very happy to use Paczkomat® devices when shopping, and sending or collecting a parcel encourages them to take advantage of our offer. When planning the next stages of expansion, we’ll also take into account the development of InPost’s PUDO services.”
