Iveco has unveiled its full line-up of new electric commercial vehicles, from the compact eJolly to the medium-duty eSuperJolly and the heavy-duty S-eWay tractor unit. According to the manufacturer, the new heavy-duty electric tractor presents a real opportunity to decarbonise road transport without compromising on operational performance.

Following last year’s launch of the S-eWay electric truck chassis, Iveco has taken another step towards transport electrification by expanding its offering with the S-eWay tractor unit – a new heavy-duty battery electric vehicle (BEV) designed for regional and long-distance haulage.

Up to 600 km range

The new Iveco S-eWay is equipped with a 603 kWh LFP battery pack (lithium iron phosphate), offering a range of up to 600 km. With a charging capacity of up to 350 kW, the vehicle can recharge from 20 to 80 per cent in around an hour – making it easy to incorporate charging stops into daily operations. The electric eAxle delivers up to 480 kW of power and 1,800 Nm of torque, ensuring strong performance even when fully loaded.

The S-eWay’s design is based on the AeroCab cabin, already familiar from the S-Way series, offering spaciousness, comfort and optimised aerodynamics. For operators using specialist bodywork, an ePTO option will also be available – enabling the powering of refrigerated trailers and other on-board equipment without the need for combustion generators.

eJolly and eSuperJolly for urban applications

Two new light-duty models – the eJolly and eSuperJolly – expand Iveco’s electric line-up in the 4.25-tonne class, designed for urban deliveries and operation in low-emission zones. According to the manufacturer, the vehicles offer a strong payload, competitive range and flexible body options.

The eJolly is a compact vehicle with a gross vehicle weight (GVW) of 2.8 to 3.2 tonnes. Thanks to its height of under 1.9 metres, it can easily access underground car parks. It comes with battery options of 49 or 75 kWh, offering a range of up to 352 km and the ability to recover 100 km of range in just 15 minutes using fast charging.

The eSuperJolly, with a GVW of up to 4.25 tonnes, provides a range of up to 420 km and a cargo volume of up to 17 m³. Its front-wheel drive and 200 kW output make it well-suited for urban wholesale deliveries and regional distribution.

Iveco electric range to be available from 2026

Iveco’s new electric vehicle range is scheduled to launch in 2026. The eSuperJolly will arrive in the first quarter, followed by the eJolly in the second quarter, with the flagship S-eWay also launching later in the year. Although the commercial release is still ahead, Iveco is already demonstrating a comprehensive approach to electromobility – from light urban transport to a heavy-duty long-haul tractor unit ready for European operations.
