Junction 38 Truckstop’s new filling station officially open

Back in July, Junction 38 Truckstop on the M6 opened a new filling station, and the facility had its official opening take place last week. Radio 2's Sally Boazman (aka Sally Traffic) was one of those present on the day to mark the occasion.

According to the local press, the new shop boasts a bigger range of products including local meats, chilled food, general groceries, beers and wines, pies and sandwiches.

In addition, the filling station now offers hotdogs containing Cumberland sausages from its own butchery, as well as full English breakfasts served in convenient boxes for take-out.

Commenting on the opening, Operations Manager Adele Shewan told the North-West Evening Mail:

“There’s no reason why a truck driver wouldn’t want good food, so we started with that ethos and consulted our regulars and set about making the absolute best Truckstop in the UK.”

Junction 38 Truckstop currently has glowing review ratings on aggregator websites like Google Maps, Truckfly and Trans Parking.

The site has an ATM, toilets & showers, guarded and illuminated parking with CCTV, and Wif-Fi. Exceptional loads and refrigerated trailers can also park there.
