Katherine Boesen becomes CCO of digital freight forwarder sennder after over 6 years at DB Schenker

Digital road freight forwarder sennder has announced the appointment of Katherine Boesen as the new Chief Commercial Officer.

According to sennder, Katherine Boesen brings extensive international logistics experience, having held senior management positions at DB Schenker, Swissport, and Damco in Europe and Asia. 

Before joining sennder, she led the commercial activities for Land Transport Europe at DB Schenker. With a career spanning more than 20 years of experience in the industry, her credentials include driving commercial success in category-defining businesses and fostering sustainability innovation, which are of critical importance to sennder and which she will apply to the business.

As Chief Commercial Officer, Katherine Boesen’s focus will be on “scaling sennder’s business, elevating internal capabilities and fostering a culture of customer-centricity and innovation across the organization”. Sennder states that she will oversee the countries and regions where sennder is active and lead the Regional, Central Commercial, and the Strategy, Planning, and Pricing divisions.

 In her newly created role, she will strategically enhance sennder’s customer relationships, particularly with holistic control tower solutions, and to further scale the impact of green offerings on the business.
