According to the company, the initiative responds to increased demand for road freight solutions driven by the nearshoring trend and strengthening trade ties between Türkiye and EU member states. The new setup includes four direct line hauls from Türkiye with multiple weekly departures, connecting to a wide range of European countries.
To enhance efficiency, Kuehne+Nagel is making use of cross-docking hubs located in Austria, Germany, and France. These hubs support faster transit and improved network connectivity.
“As trade relations between Türkiye and Europe grow, businesses need reliable and fast road freight services,” said Ali Bener, Head of Road Logistics for the Middle East and Africa at Kuehne+Nagel. “Our new setup with additional line hauls, improved lead times and pan-European coverage will particularly benefit customers with flows from Türkiye to multiple European destinations.”
The service includes shipment visibility and online booking via the company’s digital platform, myKN, which is offered as a standard feature.
Kuehne+Nagel currently employs around 80,000 people across nearly 100 countries and holds strong positions in air, sea, road, and contract logistics. The group is headquartered in Switzerland and is listed on the Swiss Market Index (SMI).
