InPost has announced that Marian Sepesi has joined the company as Vice President of Operations.
Marian Sepesi comes from Amazon, where he held the title of Director of Regional Operations.
According to InPost, he will be tasked with ramping up InPost’s cross-border offering.
“He will support us in developing cross-border services, which are essential to our business growth strategy. Marian’s role will be crucial in preparing innovative solutions that optimise our operations in this area and take into account the diverse preferences and needs of consumers in different countries. Shipping parcels from Lisbon to Warsaw will soon be a fact!,” wrote InPost CEO Rafał Brzoska, on his LinkedIn page.
Brzoska added:
“Marian’s experience and skills will help us to create the best cross-border offers for customers and merchants in all the markets where we are present and will help us to implement the InPost Group’s further growth plans.”
Meanwhile, the company has also published its Q2 results.
“In Q2 of 2023, we continued our impressive growth in volumes, revenues and profits. The dynamics of volumes handled was as high as 19%, well above the dynamics recorded in the markets where we are present. This is a confirmation of the high quality of services offered. In Q2, InPost Group also dynamically developed a network of Parcel Lockers. At the end of the quarter, there were 20,652 Parcel Lockers in Poland, 5,403 in the UK, 3,585 in France and 1,359 in Italy. The number of Parcel Lockers at the end of the quarter reached 31,443, up by 30% year-on-year. In the coming quarters, we will continue to expand our network, strengthen our market position, and further aim to improve profitability in all key markets,” said Brzoska.
