As explained by officers on Kent Road Police Unit’s Twitter page earlier today, the lorry in question did not have a valid MOT.
In addition, the vehicle’s driver did not have any driving licence whatsoever, while there was no record of the driver’s driving time either.
To cap it off, the driver also had no insurance.
As a consequence, the vehicle was unsurprisingly seized and the driver was reported.
In reply to the police’s tweet, one social media user described the lorry as a “death trap”. Another labelled the find “terrifying”.
