The M1 northbound exit slip road at junction 12 near Toddington will close overnight on Tuesday 1 September, as National Highways begins a programme of traffic light replacement works.
The slip road will be fully closed between 9pm and 5am. Northbound traffic wishing to leave the motorway at junction 12 will need to continue to junction 13 and return via the A421 and A507.
A second overnight closure of the same slip road is planned for Wednesday 4 November.
The wider works at junction 12 are due to continue until 23 January 2027 and will involve further overnight lane and slip-road closures, temporary traffic lights and a 30mph speed limit.
National Highways says the junction carries a significant volume of commercial traffic on the M1 corridor between London and the North.
