You can read this article in 1 minute

The Norwegian Parliament has introduced new rules regarding the use of winter tires for trucks. The changes will come into force this year.

On 15 November 2020 (and 16 November 16, 2020, in the northern part of the country), new regulations for winter tires for trucks will apply in Norway. From this day on, trucks will have compulsory tires marked with 3PMSF, with the characteristic symbol that has a snowflake and three mountain peaks. Thus, you will no longer be able to drive around Norway on tires marked with the M + S (Mud and Snow) abbreviation.

Also, the method of calculating fines will change. From next year, a separate fine will be issued for each of the violations related to winter tires and chains.
