In connection with public holidays in Austria, Germany, Croatia, and Hungary, traffic restrictions for heavy goods vehicles will apply this month.
Austria
The traffic ban for heavy goods vehicles is valid on October 3 from midnight to 10 pm only at Inntalautobahn A12 and Brennerautobahn A13 for vehicles traveling towards Germany (Germany Day of Unity).
October 26 from midnight to 10 pm (national holiday).
Croatia
Due to Independence Day (October 8), trucks on the Croatian roads will not be allowed to drive:
October 5 from 3 pm to 11 pm,
October 7 from 3 pm to 11 pm,
October 8 from 2 pm to 11 pm.
Germany
Due to two holidays, truckers will have to interrupt the route and take a break on:
October 3 from midnight to 10 pm (German Unity Day),
October 31 from midnight to 10 pm in Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia (Reformation Day).
Hungary
Truck bans are associated with the Day of the Republic falling on October 23:
October 22 from 10:00 pm till midnight,
October 23 from midnight to 10 pm.
