The transport industry is known for its active participation in charity campaigns. This time, the employees of the American company C.R. England decided to provide meals to starving children. Everything as part of the „One Initiative”.
„One Initiative” is a campaign that connects employees of companies, carriers and drivers in the joint fight against hunger among children. The whole story of this amazing charity event was described by deseretnews.com. It all started over a year ago. Then the four brothers Chad, Josh, Zach and TJ England, owners of C.R. England, decided to take advantage of the good position of their company on the market and start helping others. They wanted to make a real change to the world that surrounds them. They knew that they wanted to focus their actions on the youngest. Together they started the „One Initiative” which means „one load is one meal”.
The basic principle is very simple. When a customer issues a transport order, the company transfers part of the proceeds from the transaction in the form of donations to starving children. The amount that is transferred for this purpose is credited to the account of one of the 19 food banks which the organizers of the campaign work closely with. Interestingly, the driver who deals with the transport of a given cargo decides to which particular food bank money will be sent. In this way, all parties involved in the transport are also involved in helping the youngest.
The idea turned out to be a hit. C.R. truck England delivers on average 3 thousand loads daily. This means that thanks to them, one hungry child can eat a warm meal every 30 seconds.
They have already fed a million children
This kind of charity event attracts a lot of attention of the entire transport industry. The main purpose of the organizers for this year was to provide a million meals to children who can not afford it on a daily basis. Two months before the planned date, C.R. England has achieved the intended goal.

The company did not end there. Thanks to joint efforts, they continue to collect donations. More recently, anyone willing to do so can help their initiative by paying a small amount to a special share account.
