The Packeta Group, which owns the Czech logistics and technology company Zásilkovna, has announced it is preparing for negotiations with investors.

In a press release, Packeta said it had been achieving high growth for a long time, with its services and products being used by more and more customers in the area of Central and Eastern Europe, including the Czech Republic.

Commenting on the negotiations, Simona Kijonková, CEO of the Packeta group and founder and co-owner of Zásilkovna, said:

“We can confirm that preparations are currently underway to approach selected investors. We will not comment on the details for now, and the results cannot be anticipated in any way at this time.”

In 2022, despite the decline of the entire e-commerce segment, Packeta achieved consolidated sales of CZK 6.1 billion, which was an increase of 23% compared to 2021. Moreover, the total number of transported shipments was 90 million in 2022, which is a 22.8% year-on-year increase.

Packeta plans to maintain double-digit sales growth in the coming years as well.
