Due to storm Sabina and the strong winds on the coast of the Netherlands, the port of Rotterdam has been closed.

The terminals of the Dutch port will probably not resume their work until tonight, reports nieuwsbladtransport.nl. The decision will be made based on weather forecasts.

There is congestion at the port of Rotterdam that applies to ships, too, that are currently leaving Rotterdam or are still anchoring off the coast and are awaiting permission to enter.

Even if the conditions improve, you should expect difficulties that will cause restrictions at least until the end of the week.
