This weekend a section of the M20 motorway will be closed due to bridge renovation.
Both lanes between junction 4 by Leybourne and junction 6 by Maidstone will be closed from 10 pm today (Friday) until 6 am on Monday, September 17th.
The roadworks will be conducted to knockdown and rebuild Teapot Lane bridge. All traffic will be diverted.
The proposed scheme will enable proactive management of the M20 carriageway, including the link roads from/to the M26 at junction 3 (the junction with the M26) to junction 4, including the junction 4 east-bound off-slip and west-bound on-slip,” comments the Highways England spokesperson for KentLive.
