Volvo Trucks have developed a unique hybrid truck called "Mean Green".
It is supposed to take part in truck race next spring to beat the world speed record for the standing kilometre. The team at Volvo Trucks is very enthusiastic about the idea, claiming the most modern hybrid technology will prove to win the competition especially with the Swedish truck racing ace, Boije Ovebrink sitting behind the wheel.
