A new generation of the popular Volvo FM model will be launched in March. Check out the photos of the concealed vehicle. The new FM is based on the cabin of a larger truck by the Swedish brand.
A few weeks before the launch of the new generation, the concealed Volvo truck was captured in the Swedish Arjeplog by a reporter from the German transport portal verkehrsrundschau.de. At first glance, there is a resemblance between FM and its ‘big brother’, the Volvo FH. This means that the manufacturer is giving up the design that was used back in the 1990s.
Therefore, it can be expected that the new generation of the popular model, like the FH, will be available in Globetrotter and Globetrotter XL cab versions. FM will thus remain a heavy distribution transport expert.
When it comes to propulsion, Volvo is expected to stay with its current diesel and LNG natural gas engines, although probably with increased power. The truck’s premiere is scheduled for early March.
