XPO Logistics has announced the expansion of its ExpressNow logistics service across Europe following a successful initial launch in Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Morocco in 2024. The service, designed for critical and urgent shipments, will now be fully available across the continent, supported by operational centres located in France, Romania, and Poland.
ExpressNow aims to address immediate logistics requirements arising from equipment breakdowns, spikes in activity, or disruptions in supply chains. According to XPO Logistics, the service provides real-time tracking powered by artificial intelligence, allowing customers to maintain constant visibility of shipments. Additional features include immediate driver mobilisation within 90 minutes of order confirmation and access to a Control Tower for comprehensive operational oversight.
The ExpressNow network comprises over 200 agencies throughout Europe and provides international solutions, including management of express border formalities. The service covers a wide range of logistics needs, from temperature-controlled transport to handling large, fragile, or high-value items. Transport options range from small vans to aircraft, including first available flights or dedicated air freight solutions. Optional personalised insurance is also available, offering coverage beyond standard limits.
Luis Angel Gomez, President – Europe at XPO Logistics, stated that ExpressNow specifically targets sectors demanding quick response and precision, such as automotive, pharmaceuticals, luxury goods, aerospace, and manufacturing. Arron Kendall, the company’s Sales and Marketing Director for Europe, added that the new service ensures immediate pickup, detailed tracking, and full transparency of all shipments throughout the region.
XPO Logistics reports that ExpressNow has already facilitated over 2,500 shipments originating from more than 25 countries since its initial rollout.
