It is crucial in the fight with the coronavirus for all European countries to ensure the continuity of the transportation of goods. The French government has prepared two maps to help truckers find what they need.
The first map shows those fuel stations that are still open and offer essential services for drivers to rest, refuel and use their facilities. The second map shows the garages still operating and available for heavy goods vehicles.

The only available German border crossings with Austria, France, Luxembourg, Denmark and Switzerland
Drivers can only pass the German borders with Austria, France, Luxembourg, Denmark and Switzerland at certain border crossings since 20 March.
Due to the corona pandemic, Germany closed its borders with France, Austria, Denmark, Luxembourg and Switzerland in mid-March. Since 20 March, travelling to a neighbouring country has only been possible at certain border crossings.
The list of approved border crossing points can be viewed here.
In important exceptional cases, for example in the event of significant traffic disruptions, the German Federal Police can temporarily open other border crossings, too.
The provisions apply to both car transport and truck freight transport.
