Another Tispol control already next week

The European Traffic Police Tispol will be organising a series of roadside checks in many European Union countries between 26 February and 4 March. The police activities will concern only heavy goods vehicles and buses.

During the week of the checks the documents of the vehicle, load and driver will be checked in particular. In addition, the officers will control tachographs for compliance with the provisions of the Regulation 561/2006 specifying the periods of work and rest for drivers.

The police will also focus on the speed control and psychophysical condition of drivers. The officers will be also checking the ADR certificates of approval and other documents required by national and EU regulations.

Where will the control take place?

The campaign will be conducted in the countries that belong to TISPOL, i.e.: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, France, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Great Britain, Estonia and Italy.
