The Arlberg Tunnel, a key section of the S16 Arlberg Schnellstraße, will be shut at night for maintenance works. The closure will run from Monday 22 September to Friday 26 September 2025, between 8 p.m. and 4 a.m.
During this period, traffic will be diverted via the B197 Arlbergstraße, which passes over the Arlberg Pass. Notably, the usual ban on vehicles with trailers along this section will be lifted for the duration of the works, allowing hauliers to use the diversion without restrictions.
