Bosch unveils logistics platform in Europe, India and the USA

Bosch recently announced that its digital logistics platform, L.OS, designed to streamline IT processes in the transport and logistics sector, has successfully launched in the market.

Already securing 50 customers in Europe, India, and the USA, with 20 logistics companies each from Germany and India, and ten from the USA among the initial customers. In collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Bosch aims to digitize logistics, identifying significant market opportunities for increased efficiency in the global transport and logistics industry.

The company envisions global sales of approximately 500 million euros by 2030 and has established a dedicated unit with over 400 employees for its digital platform business. L.OS offers logistics and transport companies worldwide easy access to IT services, fostering more efficient and sustainable operations.

With L.OS, Bosch ushered in the digital age for freight forwarders and freight forwarders. Notably, L.OS is open to all logistics solution providers, facilitating seamless interaction among various services and data. The platform allows freight forwarders to leverage digitalization without undertaking resource-intensive and costly IT projects, adapting to individual needs and country-specific requirements. In India, the platform integrates Bosch’s tracking solution „TrakZeus” for fleet and transport management, while the „Digital CN” feature digitizes transport documents.

In Europe, L.OS introduces secure truck parking space booking, and in the USA, a dedicated transport management system streamlines fleet processes.

Bosch has established a new cross-border business unit, „Mobility Platform and Services,” focusing on digital platform development. With over 400 employees across Europe, India, and the USA, the unit oversees the enhancement and support of Bosch’s digital platforms, including the „Mobility Marketplace,” „ParkZeus” parking management platform, and the „Logistics Operating System” L.OS. Bosch’s commitment to digitalization underscores its dedication to fostering collaborative innovation and addressing complex challenges in the mobility sector.
