The project stems from a collaboration between 360PAY, Golia360 and Trans.eu Group. The aim is to create a “relationship-based freight exchange”, i.e., a digital environment where the exchange of transport services is not based solely on price, but on trust, transparency and the quality of relationships between operators.

A freight exchange built on trust and data

The platform enables users within the Golia360 and 360PAY ecosystem to publish load requests and offers within a private, verified community. At the same time, operators can choose to extend their search to the international network of the Trans.eu platform, which has more than 125,000 active users.

The idea behind Golia Exchange is to turn trust between operators into real operational infrastructure: companies are identified and certified, their reliability becomes visible, and business relationships can be managed in a structured and traceable way.

According to the promoters, this model can help address some long-standing challenges in the sector, such as market fragmentation, empty runs and operational inefficiencies, with benefits also on the economic and environmental fronts.

Presentation and demo at the Verona trade fair

The official debut is scheduled for 11 March at 1 p.m. at the ALIS HUB at LetExpo, during the roundtable titled “Can trust become transport infrastructure?”. Representatives of the companies involved in the project and industry operators will attend.

At 2 p.m., at the Golia stand, a live demonstration of the platform will be held. The demo will allow visitors to see how the system works and how it differs from traditional freight exchanges.

The relationship-based model, the developers explain, aims to highlight reliable companies and reduce competition based exclusively on price. In a market where a large share of volumes is covered by ongoing contracts and a significant portion is still managed on a spot basis, the goal is to turn the flexibility of the spot market into a stable, organised element.

A digital ecosystem for transport

The platform integrates with the Golia Fleet technology ecosystem, developed by Golia360, which includes services for managing digital tachograph data, vehicle geolocation, telemetry and support tools for transport companies.

With more than 60,000 connected vehicles, the system provides operational data that is useful for the day-to-day management of fleets and for companies’ decision-making support.

Thanks to the collaboration with Trans.eu, one of Europe’s leading marketplaces for road transport, Golia Exchange will also be able to leverage advanced offer management tools and AI-based technologies to improve matching between loads and carriers.

The stated goal is to support the sector’s transition towards a more efficient, sustainable and Europe-wide integrated mobility model, where reliable relationships, operational data and digital technologies become key elements of the future competitiveness of freight transport.
