Austria has tightened its entry requirements again due to the coronavirus pandemic, reports Verkehrrundshau. However, truck drivers still don’t need to provide a negative coronavirus test when entering the country.
Truck drivers in cross-border freight traffic can still enter Austria without further restrictions, pointed out the Federal Association for Freight Transport Logistics and Disposal (BGL).
Foreigners from certain countries have to submit a negative corona test and self-isolate themselves if they are not only in transit after entering Austria but this regulation doesn’t apply to lorry drivers carrying out transportation operations.
