The DCSA+ programme was launched in March 2025 at the TPM25 conference. It aims to bring together a broad range of industry stakeholders—including freight forwarders, technology providers, and terminal operators—to support the standardisation of digital processes in maritime logistics. DB Schenker is the third organisation to join the initiative, following Lufthansa Industry Solutions and Vinturas.

According to DCSA, the programme offers partners access to collaborative projects and discussions focused on digital interoperability, API frameworks, and data exchange standards. It is intended to support faster adoption of shared systems that improve operational efficiency and transparency.

DB Schenker handles ocean freight operations for over 700,000 customers in 130 countries. By joining the programme, the company will take part in ongoing efforts to develop technical standards used across the container shipping value chain.

DCSA is a non-profit organisation based in Amsterdam. It was established by major container shipping lines to promote industry-wide digital standardisation.
