The startup has unveiled its autonomous robots in a Romanian logistics center. The system uses 12-meter-tall robots, and employs AI to optimize resource planning and workforce management.

Partnering with A.P. Moller – Maersk & iB Cargo, Dexory’s NEO robot scans over 10,000 pallet locations per hour (previously 150 locations per hour with manual processes) in the Bolintin-Deal (Romania) centre, employing “digital twin” technology for real-time data access.

It covers wide aisles as well as very narrow and difficult to navigate aisles, and keeps track of both full pallets and boxes left in pick-up areas.

“We are delighted to partner with Maersk and iB Cargo and bring the power of real-time data and information to this impressive hub in Romania, supporting a strong furniture and interior design company. Multiple teams have already started using Dexory technology, our solution based on digital twins helping them make more informed decisions and work more efficiently”, said Andrei Danescu, Chief Executive Officer & Co-founder of Dexory.

Dexory, formerly BotsAndUS, was founded in London in 2015 by Romanians Andrei Danescu, Adrian Negoiță and Oana Jinga. Its innovative solutions are aimed at capturing real-time information related to warehouse operations using autonomous robots and artificial intelligence.

The startup has recently announced raising $19 million series A funding. The investment will be used for international expansion in key markets such as the US, and Central and Northern Europe, with aims to double Dexory’s workforce by the end of the year to support unit deployment functions and increased production.
