Located at the Quantum Distribution Park in Kilshane, the 265,000-square-foot site is designed to serve the growing technology, life sciences, and healthcare sectors in Ireland. The facility offers specialist features including compliance support, customs clearance tools, and temperature-controlled storage with sealed unloading docks that prevent any time out of refrigeration for sensitive products.

DHL says the new site enables full supply chain visibility and supports companies operating in highly regulated industries. Ireland hosts 9 of the world’s top 10 software firms and 20 of the top 25 pharmaceutical companies, underlining the strategic importance of the location.

The building has received BREEAM ‘Excellent’ and LEED ‘Gold’ sustainability certifications. It is equipped with solar panels and operates a mixed fleet of electric and biomethane-powered vehicles to reduce emissions. DHL also plans to implement circular logistics practices such as returning, recovering and reusing materials.

“With sectors like life sciences and healthcare expanding rapidly in Ireland, this facility is built to meet their complex and evolving supply chain requirements,” said Patrick Corbett, Managing Director of DHL Supply Chain Ireland. “We’ve designed it with longevity and sustainability in mind.”

The Dublin site includes 60,000 square feet of mezzanine space and capacity for 33,000 pallets. It benefits from strong transport links, being close to Dublin Airport, Dublin Inland Port, and Dublin Port.
